“BE SMART FARMER” PROJECT

Purpose of the Act “Be Smart Farmer (GEA) – Employment Support Initiatives by Return and Integration of Human Resources in Primary Sector” is the activation and mobilization of local actors in order to ensure job creation for the unemployed as a result of specific local diagnosis requirements and enhancement of growth potential in the Regional Section (IP) Achaia. The project includes actions to:
Reach potential farmers belonging to specific target groups and the long-term unemployed with low qualifications and persons living in poverty.
Support the design of processes lifelong training in agricultural occupations and green entrepreneurship, with the use of the Regional agricultural resources.
Creating programs for the continuous diffusion of scientific practice, and not only knowledge to society.
Enhance non-formal lifelong learning in new areas of agro-economy, the evolution of the economy itself highlights.
Strengthen innovative connection policies of social networks with the local government and lifelong learning programs through the development partnership.
Enable the development of social networks, creating social capital and reducing the costs of bureaucracy and changes.
