We are thrilled to share some exciting news! The psSMILE project, which Four Elements actively participated in, has been honored with this year’s European Innovative Teaching Award (EITA). This prestigious recognition, awarded by the European Commission, highlights the outstanding work and impact of the project in promoting socio-emotional capacity building in primary education.
The psSMILE project, coordinated by VšĮ eMundus in Kaunas, Lithuania, was one of four projects coordinated by Lithuanian institutions to be nominated for this award. These nominations spanned various educational fields, including early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, and vocational education and training (VET). Our project was specifically recognized for meeting the European Commission’s theme of “Well-being at School,” as a significant contributions it has made to enhancing the emotional well-being of students across Europe. The course can still be accessed on the psSMILE web platform. It’s designed for teachers and parents to focus on skills of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social management.
This recognition is a result of our partnership’s dedication, and highlights the importance of the work Four Elements has been doing in collaboration with our partners in Italy, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Portugal.
We are proud to announce that in November, the project coordinator from VšĮ “eMundus” will travel to Brussels to accept our prize, a certificate recognizing the outstanding innovation and effectiveness of the psSMILE project.
